SCORE® and Delaware SCORE offer low-cost business training workshops for both start-up and in-business entrepreneurs seeking growth or recovery.
- For new businesses we offer our start-up series of 4 workshops given monthly that cover the basic information you need to start a business including how to write a business plan that will satisfy the expectations of lenders. Each workshop may be taken individually if you are looking to develop specific skills or just want general information about whether owning a business would be a fit for you, writing a business plan, or understanding funding sources.
- For currently in-business owners and managers we offer an advanced workshop to help you assess your current business situation and covering topics in general operations management, marketing, sales, and finance.
The SCORE® workshops are designed to provide the information you need. Each workshop delivers information to you quickly, with practical examples and lots of discussion. Our workshop leaders are experienced and successful business people who will guide you through their subjects. Profit from their experience. Workshops also offer an opportunity to interact with other local small business owners with similar interests.
